So we are looking for a talented and experienced usability tester who knows how to speak to our users, understand their needs and frustrations and help us further develop our product. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on Selz as we expand and evolve.
What we're looking for
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Create usability test plans which clearly describe the flow, tasks, and questions to be covered during participant sessions.
Recruit and manage test users.
Run one-on-one testing sessions and/or focus groups and analyze participant feedback.
Document and translate verbal and written user feedback.
Analyze and document results discovered from usability sessions and/or focus groups to develop product feedback.
Collaborate with product team to refine the customer experience.
Measure recently released system features to establish benchmarks and to identify potential areas of improvement.
It would be great if you have:
3–5 years usability testing and/or user research experience.
Fluency with usability testing tools.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around plans and reports.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills, along with experience in customer interaction, requirements analysis and presentations.
Ability to communicate findings and suggestions in simple wireframes.
Proven ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.
Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines and self manage.
Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
