At Contap, we partner with event organizers and provide them with free software to host their events on our platform. We are seeking a Director of Sales & Customer Success to help those event organizers discover our many benefits through prospecting, inbound demos, on-boarding of our event software, and providing ongoing support for customers. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and contribute immediately to sales campaigns. ABOUT YOUR ROLE
You’ll be using tools such as Zoom, HubSpot, Asana, Slack, and more to sell, on-board and retain Contap Social event organizers. You will prospect, network with the right folks, set sales calls and perform software demos. Then, you and your team will on-board new clients and support clients after they are on-boarded.
Provide regular updates on overall business & campaign performance to CEO.
Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales opportunities.
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new revenue streams and service improvements.
Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider exceptional performance or significant experience in place of formal education.
5+ years of work experience in sales, customer support, B2B sales, software sales; preference will be given to candidates who have software sales and software support experience.
Strong writing, verbal, and analytical skills.
Tech savvy, having great familiarity with social media, mobile apps, mobile technology, and current events in the technology space.
